The tour starts from Athens.Destination is Nafplio. Nafplio is a town with thousands years of History. It was the first Capital of Greece after country’s independance at 1821.
Our first stop will be Corinth Canal.The Corinth Canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.
On the way to Nafplio you will visit Palamidi fortress.This construction was a very large and ambitious project, but was finished within a relatively short period from 1711 until 1714. In 1715 it was captured by the Turks and remained under their control until 1822, when it was captured by the Greeks.
After that a stop at Akronafplia fortress couldn’t be missed. This Venetian style fortress will offer you a breathtaking view of Argolic gulf and the opportunity for amazing photos.
Afterwards the next stop is the old town of Nafplio. Exploring the town you will walk through Kapodistrias Statue, Three Admiral’s Square, the Archaeological museum of Nafplio and you will have plenty of time for souvenir shopping in the picturesque alleys of the town.
Lunch time. You will enjoy delicious traditional food in a local tavern next to the port of Nafplio with a beautiful sea view.
Last but not least,before the way back to Athens you can visit the first ”Worry Beads Museum(Komboloi) of the world. You will learn a lot and discover how this unique object is connected with Greek history and culture (optional).

People entitled to Social Solidarity Income and members dependent on them, upon presentation of their ID card and certificate of free entry based on eligibility to the program showing the duration, as well as a valid document certifying dependent members. 7. Persons with disabilities and one escort (only in the case of 80% disability), irrespective of the country of origin, upon presentation of their ID card or passport and Disability Certificate issued by the Single Body of Social Insurance (decision of the Disability Certification CenterKEPA) for Greek citizens or similar certificates issued by a corresponding authorized foreign body.
