Early in the morning, we will catch the ferry from Piraeus port for Aegina island. After 1 hour we reached our destination.First stop will be the ancient settlement of Kolona, where you will admire the Temple of Apollo and so many foundings inside the archaeological museum.
Then we will head to the Temple of Aphaia.This unique monument is settled on the highest hill of Aegina, Aiakos hill. Looking this temple on the map,if you measure the distanses with Acropolis and Temple of Posidon, you will notice that it forms a same sides triangle!!!The view is breathtaking since you can see the whole Saronic golf, Athens and Attica mountains from up there.
Afther that we will visit the church of Saint Nektarios and the little house he used to live in, near the monastery.
Its swimming time in Clima beach! You will enjoy the amazing beach of Clima with the crystal blue waters and you will be able to relax on comfortable sunbeds there. This sandy beach is a proper paradise on Earth!
Stop for lunch in a local fishrestaurant with amazing sea view!!!
Then will visit Aegina city or the ”pistachio island” as it is called because of a particular kind of pistachio produced only on this island. You will have the chance to try for free and buy as much as you want. After lunch , you will have 30 minutes free time in the town of Aegina to explore the centre and do some shopping.
Then, we will catch the Ferry back to Piraeus port.
